I spend about 20% of my time helping users with their computer questions.  Things they should know but forget to think about.

 

About 20% of my time is spent creating reports and views of the data in the system.

 

Another 20% of my time is spent in meetings, usually pointing out what the system does or can do.

 

30% of my time is spent on e-mail and phone conversations about the system and new requirements.

 

The last 10% of my time is spent managing my staff and doing software development myself.

 

I have very little time to do much else.
